You may benefit from a consultation with an integrative medicine specialist if you want a new perspective on how to cope with a simple or complex medical condition, such as cancer, diabetes, or heart disease. This service requires that you have a current primary care doctor with whom our providers can partner to help you pursue our recommendations.
How It Works
Our doctors will ask questions to better understand your medical needs and the underlying factors that influence your health. You’ll participate in a review of your medical history, current issues, and desired health goals.
Following this consultation, the doctor will help you develop a long-term plan that may include complementary medicine services, such as massage, nutrition, and/or supplements that coincide with your current treatment. You will work with your primary care provider to put this plan into practice.
Integrative medicine consults do not require primary care membership. They are considered specialty visits and are typically covered by insurance with a specialty copay.
