Obtain a Laboratory Order Before Arriving
You should have a laboratory order from your provider before arriving for testing. You can verify that your provider put in the order through My Duke Health or by contacting the laboratory.

 

Know Your Test Preparation
Most laboratory tests do not require special preparation. If preparation is needed, your provider will give you instructions. If you're not sure, review the instructions in your My Duke Health account or contact your provider's office.
