Become a Volunteer

Duke University Hospital

Short Overview

The 2023 Junior Volunteer program is canceled. We will accept applications for the 2024 Junior Volunteer program in early 2024.

We are not accepting any new volunteer candidates for the Adult Community and College Student Volunteer program. The Volunteer Services team will assess volunteer needs for summer and fall. An update will be announced by the end of March 2023.

All of our volunteers have unique reasons for volunteering their time and skills. Duke Health volunteers have the opportunity to be of service to our patients, their families, the staff, and the greater community while also gaining the personal satisfaction of knowing that they have helped others.
