Volunteer Services
Become a Volunteer
Our generous volunteers are a key part of our mission to advance health care in our community. Adult men and women give thousands of hours assisting patients, their families, and staff members and help in nearly all Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital departments.
While we work with new volunteers to help you find the most fulfilling opportunity, we also work hard to ensure the position uses your talents and fits your schedule. In addition to donating their time, volunteers raise funds for hospital projects. In past years, our volunteers have donated new furniture for the chapel, wheelchairs, a resuscitation mannequin, and an activity table for young visitors.
