Duke Raleigh Hospital offers volunteer opportunities for college students and community adults. Review the application deadlines and onboarding dates below to determine which volunteer cycle is right for you.
Volunteer Application & Onboarding Schedule (Community Adult Volunteers)
Important Information
- Attendance at the information session is required before Hospital Orientation.
- Mandatory Orientation must be completed before Department Training.
- Department Training dates may vary based on volunteer placement and department availability.
- Additional onboarding requirements include Employee Health clearance, a background check and required learning modules.
- Volunteer applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the application deadline to be considered for that onboarding cycle.
- Applications received after the deadline or incomplete applications will be reviewed for the next available onboarding session, subject to program availability.
