Junior Volunteer Program

Duke HomeCare & Hospice

Short Overview

Note: Duke HomeCare and Hospice is currently not accepting applications for the 2023 Junior Volunteer program. We will be accepting applications again for the 2024 Junior Volunteer program starting in January 2024.

The Junior Volunteer Program at HomeCare and Hospice provides high school students, ages 16 to 17, the opportunity to experience a variety of activities in a homecare and hospice setting. As they assist our patients and visitors, junior volunteers learn valuable lessons they will use throughout their adult lives. This program is only offered during the summer months.
