Note: Duke Regional Hospital is currently accepting applications for adult community volunteers and Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) advisors. Duke Regional Hospital is not accepting applicants for the junior volunteer program for summer 2022. More information about when the junior volunteer program will resume will be provided at the beginning of 2023.


Volunteers have always been a special part of the warm, personal touch for which Duke Regional Hospital is known. We invite you to contribute your special talents to our volunteer service program. Our dedicated volunteers work throughout the hospital. Their work is integral to the operation of many departments and their enthusiasm boosts the morale of the patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

People volunteer at Duke Regional Hospital for lots of different reasons and come from many backgrounds, but they all have at least one thing in common: they volunteer so they can use their special talents, learn new skills, and do the things they like to do. Volunteers welcome the public and assist patients throughout the hospital.
