Getting on Track Program
Our eight-week Getting on Track program is designed to nurture your body and mind through weekly interactive nutrition, exercise, and behavioral change classes. Our experts are here to eliminate the frustration, confusion, and deprivation often associated with weight loss attempts, guiding you towards a balanced and intuitive approach to health.
Throughout the eight-week program, you'll participate in group exercise sessions, group health coaching, and lectures, plus receive personalized nutrition and exercise plans. Our team will be your support, checking in regularly to guide and adjust your plan as you discover what works best for you. We understand that there is not one path for everyone, and our goal is to help you find the path that suits you.
This program can be taken virtually via Zoom. If you are local to the Duke Health & Fitness Center, you can join our weekly exercise sessions in person. The program meets three nights a week for eight weeks, providing a comprehensive and supportive environment for your journey. Graduates of the Getting on Track program can continue to receive guidance and support in our Staying on Track program.
Pricing
- $353 for members and $406 for non-members.
- You can also join the center for any length of time while enrolled in Getting on Track and save 50% on the initiation fee.
Staying on Track Support Group
Getting on Track graduates can participate in our various support group options. This includes groups focused on functional movement, nutrition, and group health coaching. All Staying on Track groups provide accountability and motivation to reach your goals. Sessions are available only to Getting on Track graduates.
Weight Loss Consultations
These one-hour consultations are available by appointment and provide you with expertise from a registered, licensed dietitian and/or an exercise physiologist.
Nutrition consultations may be covered by your insurance -- contact Jaunetta Tapp at 660-6656 to find out if your visit is eligible. If a consultation isn't covered, out-of-pocket options are available. We also offer an in-person exercise consultation as part of our personal training program. This service is not covered by insurance and costs $62 for members and $73 for non-members.
If you want a deeper understanding of your health, you can also sign up for a body composition analysis, which can determine how your body’s muscle, fat, and water contributes to weight gain or weight loss and your ability to maintain good health.
