Specially trained health and well-being coaches at the Duke Health & Fitness Center help you focus on behavior changes that create a lifelong impact. During one-on-one sessions, your coach will listen to you and help you clarify goals, then identify barriers to them and agree on strategies that help you achieve your desired changes. This structured, supportive partnership allows you to make individualized plans with your coach that maximize your health and vitality.
Flexible Health Coaching Sessions
Sessions with your personal health coach can take place by phone, video conference, or in person at the Duke Health & Fitness Center. Coaching sessions are casual and conversational as your coach helps you prioritize your wellness goals.
During your initial, hour-long discovery session, you'll create a vision for your health and learn how to make it a reality. You can schedule 30-minute follow-up sessions with your coach as needed.
No matter what lifestyle changes you focus on --- whether they be exercise, meditation, or nutrition habits -- our coaches will never tell you what to do. You are always in charge of your wellness plan.
