Our Providers
Urologic Services in Raleigh
Our urologists diagnose, treat, and provide follow-up care for common conditions like urinary incontinence (leakage), overactive bladders, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and more. We also provide a range of services that includes treatment of:
- Benign prostate disease including benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)
- Male sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease, and low libido
- Male infertility and family planning including vasectomy
- Urinary symptoms including blood in the urine (hematuria), voiding problems, incontinence, and recurrent urinary tract disease
- Urologic cancers, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, and testicular cancer
In-office procedures may include removal of genital warts, biopsies, vasectomy (including no-scalpel vasectomy), and cystoscopy to evaluate conditions such as hematuria or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). If you need a catheter, we can place it and show you how to use and care for it.
If needed, our providers can recommend minimally invasive surgical procedures, including extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy to treat kidney stones or a variety of endoscopic, robotic, and laparoscopic procedures to treat conditions such as prostate enlargement or cancer. If you’ve suffered an injury that impacts how you urinate, our urologists can recommend medication. In some cases, we may recommend surgery that can help restore flow.
Because male sexual health concerns can sometimes be symptoms of chronic conditions such as heart disease and diabetes, or psychological problems such as depression, our men’s health specialists screen for these and other underlying health problems. We arrange referrals to primary care doctors and specialists throughout Duke Health, including nutritionists, physical therapists, fertility experts and others, as needed.
Diagnostic imaging and surgical procedures are performed at Duke Raleigh.
