Surgeries We May Offer
Select people may be able to have a minimally invasive surgery in our clinic and go home the same day. For people who need more advanced procedures, revision surgery, or who have certain risk factors, you may need to have surgery at Duke University Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital or Duke Regional Hospital.
Equipment
Our waiting room is outfitted with specialized seating options for people who have trouble sitting down or standing up from a seated position. In addition, each of our exam rooms are equipped with an oversized, interactive monitor so you can view and discuss your imaging results with your doctor in detail.
We have access to specialized rooms with imaging equipment. In addition to standard X-ray technology, we also have an EOS X-ray unit, which emits only one-tenth of the radiation dose of a conventional X-ray. With the EOS system, the entire body can be imaged at once, from both the front and side, and it can be done while you stand up. Our dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan also uses lower doses of radiation to evaluate bone density.
