Visitors of Admitted Patients
Permitted visitors that accompany patients to the main Duke Raleigh Hospital building, 3400 Wake Forest Road, will be issued a badge. Visitors should have their ID available to expedite this process. Visitors will be screened daily and will be required to wear a mask while in the hospital and on campus.
Visitors of Surgical and Procedural Patients
Visitors accompanying patients undergoing surgery or procedures at Duke Raleigh Hospital are invited to wait for their loved one in our designated waiting area within surgical services in our main hospital building. Visitors will be screened daily, required to wear a mask, and continue physical distancing in the waiting area. Visitors should park your vehicle in the P1 or P2 Parking Garage.
One adult visitor is allowed to accompany a patient to their surgery appointment.
If your friend or loved one is a patient at Duke Raleigh Hospital, you can get in touch or send well wishes.

Family members and friends can also call Duke Raleigh Hospital's Guilded Lily gift shop at 919-954-3115 to purchase a flower arrangement that will be delivered to the patient's room. Flowers and mail will be forwarded to the patient's home address upon discharge.
Please note that ICU patients may not receive flowers, balloons, or gift baskets. Cards, however, are permitted and encouraged.
The Duke Raleigh Hospital Public Safety Department provides a safe and secure environment for all who visit our campus. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can be reached by calling the public safety office at 919-954-3911.
Officers patrol the campus, buildings, and surrounding areas, and provide direction and assistance for emergency response and fire safety at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Our department also maintains a lost and found department.
