Duke Raleigh Hospital Plaza Pharmacy is a full-service outpatient pharmacy located in the Duke Raleigh Hospital North Pavilion. Our services are available to patients who would like to fill prescriptions before leaving the hospital campus.

Services
The Duke Raleigh Hospital Plaza Pharmacy is available to patients so prescriptions can be filled prior to leaving the hospital campus. We accept most major insurance plans and can accept electronically prescribed medications.
We also offer:
- Medication education to ensure patients understand what the medicine is used for, dosing instructions, side effects, storage and disposal
- Checks to avoid drug interactions between current medications and new medications
- Special order medications, both prescription and over-the-counter, often for next day pick-up
- Assistance for patients who need to obtain manufacturer coupons to reduce or eliminate co-pay
- Assistance for patients with locating medications at local pharmacies when not in stock, but needed immediately
- For Duke insured employees, we provide 90-day supply of maintenance medications at mail order prices
- For all Duke employees, we offer discounts on over-the-counter medications
Accepted Insurance
Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Duke Raleigh Hospital has two free parking decks. The most convenient to the Plaza Pharmacy is parking deck two (P2), just to the left of the main hospital entrance.
Public Transportation
Plan your trip to Duke Raleigh Hospital Plaza Pharmacy through GoRaleigh bus routes 2 and 24L. The closest bus stops are Wake Forest Rd at Navaho Dr and Wake Forest Rd at St Albans Dr (Hilton Midtown). If you have trouble accessing these routes, visit GoWake Access to check if you are eligible for Wake County's accessible transit program.
