Surgical Oncology in Raleigh

Our surgical oncologists are experts at diagnosing the specifics of your disease and providing you with next steps of treatment. We specialize in several forms of cancer and non-cancerous growths.

Melanoma and Non-melanoma Skin Cancers

As part of thoroughly diagnosing your melanoma, we perform minimally invasive procedures such as biopsies or small skin excisions in order to test the area of your cancer. We may also use ultrasound as part of a biopsy, or CT and PET/CT scans to best understand the nature of your melanoma, merkel cell, or non-melanoma skin cancers.

We commonly diagnose people who have benign and malignant disorders of the pancreas, stomach, liver, bile ducts, and small intestine. When you come to our clinic, we’ll perform a physical exam and may draw blood for lab tests in order to develop a treatment plan for your gastrointestinal specialist.

Our comprehensive care includes a team of experts that diagnose eight different areas of disease of the colon, rectum, and anus, from a colonoscopy screening to determining rare tumors. Our experts will always focus on preservation of your intestines, and if surgery is needed, our consultations will explain minimally invasive procedures as your first options.
