Ver en español

My Duke Health is Duke MyChart plus a lot more. You still have access to everything you love about Duke MyChart and your username and password remain the same.

What is My Duke Health?

My Duke Health is the new name for Duke MyChart. My Duke Health uses the foundation of MyChart and continues to offer a secure and convenient way to access your health care online. You can still do everything you are used to doing in Duke MyChart including reviewing health records, communicating with your providers, scheduling appointments, paying your bills, and more.

What is changing?

The website landing page is changing along with the name. The new URL for the patient portal landing page is Home | My Duke Health (dukemychart.org). The system will automatically send you to the new landing page when you go to log into the patient portal.

Instead of landing directly on the Duke MyChart page, you will be redirected to our My Duke Health page. You can log in to all the familiar MyChart functionality directly from the My Duke Health page using your already existing MyChart username and password.

If you use the MyChart app (red folder with white heart icon) on your phone or tablet, that is still available to you and is not impacted by the change of the website's landing page.

If you would like to obtain the My Duke Health App, you can learn more about that at https://www.dukehealth.org/duke-mychart/my-duke-health.  The My Duke Health app is just like the MyChart app only with more functionality before logging in.

My login information was saved on my computer, and I have forgotten it. What do I do?

You can retrieve it through your saved passwords on your computer browser OR you can click on forgot username or forgot password just below the login information and the system will help you retrieve or update this information. It will require that you enter your full name and date of birth for username retrieval and your username, date of birth, and zip code for password retrieval.

If assistance is still required you can call customer service at 919-620-4555 or 800-782-6945, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Do I need to create a new account or login?

No, you do not need to create a new account or log in. You can use the same username and password that you used for Duke MyChart. If you have forgotten your username or password, you can use the links on the login page to reset them as noted above.

What if I do not have a My Duke Health (MyChart) account?

If you have a Duke MyChart account currently you do not need to create a new account to access the My Duke Health website. Just use the same login information you always have.

If you have never had a Duke MyChart account and need to create an account to access the patient portal there are many ways to do that. The simplest way is to click on the blue ‘New User’ button on the landing page and it will take you through the steps to set up your account. You can also visit https://www.dukehealth.org/duke-mychart/guides/create-account for more information on how to obtain a new patient portal account.

Do not worry if you see the name Duke MyChart instead of My Duke Health or vice versa – these are being used interchangeably until everything is transitioned and people are comfortable with the name change.

Will I still be able to access my health records, messages, test results, and other features that I used in Duke MyChart?

Yes, you will still be able to access all the features that you are used to in Duke MyChart. You can view your health records, messages, test results, connections to other healthcare organizations, and more. My Duke Health is Duke MyChart plus much more so you can also still schedule appointments, request prescription renewals, pay your bills, and share your health information with others.

Why did we change the name?

We changed the name to reflect our commitment to providing you with a personalized and integrated healthcare experience. My Duke Health is more than just an app. It is a portal to a wide range of health resources and services.
