Change to NC Medicaid Tailored Plans

On July 1, 2024, NC Medicaid Direct transitioned services for mental health disorders, substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD), or traumatic brain injury (TBI) to Tailored Plans.

Beneficiaries receive health care services the same way they did through NC Medicaid Direct or Standard Plans. Only the name is changing. The services are not changing. Learn about Tailored Plans.
