Duke urgent care doctors treat infants, children, and adults with minor injuries and illnesses. Visit this urgent care clinic in Wake Forest when your primary care provider is unavailable, after hours, or when your condition is not serious and does not require emergency services. 

We encourage you to check wait times and reserve your spot to minimize your wait time. Walk-ins are always welcome. 

Lab work and X-rays can be done on-site.

Available to people ages 6 months and older. Use My Duke Health (previously Duke MyChart) to schedule your virtual appointment. Sign up for My Duke Health if you don't have an account.

Virtual Visit Hours

  • 7 days a week, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for 6 years of age and older.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for ages 6 months and older.
  • A virtual visit is covered by insurance as a primary care visit. Co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles apply.

After hours, use the Duke Health Anywhere app for your urgent care video visit.

Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. About Us

This Duke urgent care center in Wake Forest, NC, is located on Rogers Road. We are on on the first floor of the Duke Health Heritage building. There are several clinics in this building, including both a pediatrics clinic and internal medicine clinic. This makes it easy for you to access urgent care services, and establish a relationship with a primary care doctor if you don’t already have one.

Preparing For Your Visit

Appointments are not required. Walk in or reserve your spot online to minimize your wait time in our clinic.

We provide equal access for all people and offer a range of free accessibility services to patients and visitors who need them.

Interpreter Services

Free interpreter services can be provided for patients who prefer to communicate in a language other than English.

Plan your trip to Duke Urgent Care Heritage through GoRaleigh's Wake Forest Loop (Clockwise) bus route. The closest bus stop is S Main St at Rogers Rd (Wake Forest Middle School). If you have trouble accessing this route, visit GoWake Access to check if you are eligible for Wake County’s accessible transit program.
