About Us
Duke Primary Care Heritage Pediatrics is a part of Duke Health Heritage, which is located off South Main Street in Wake Forest, NC. This multi-specialty health facility is home to primary care and many specialty clinics.
As a Duke patient you have access to My Duke Health, an online patient portal that makes it easier than ever to manage your health care online. My Duke Health allows you to see your test results, request prescription refills, schedule appointments, and communicate with your provider – all online.
Preparing For Your Visit
Sick children can usually be seen on the same day. Physical exams must be scheduled in advance. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the necessary forms.
Late Policy
We value your time and work hard to keep our clinic running on time as well. Out of respect for all our patients and our timely care of your child, if you arrive 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time you may be asked to reschedule to the next available appointment. Courtesy phone calls are also greatly appreciated.
Vaccine Position Statement
Please review our vaccine position statement (PDF, 74KB) to ensure this pediatric practice is right for you. It is the position of Duke Primary Care to vaccinate all its patient population, as many families are legitimately concerned that unvaccinated persons put their families at risk. If you choose not to vaccinate, we strongly encourage you to establish care with a provider who shares your vaccination philosophy. We are an active participant in the Vaccines for Children Program through the North Carolina Immunization Registry. It provides vaccines at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of the inability to pay.
Accessibility Services
We provide equal access for all people and offer a range of free accessibility services to patients and visitors who need them.

Free interpreter services can be provided for patients who prefer to communicate in a language other than English.
