About Me

I believe the best care starts with listening. Whether you're recovering from an injury or dealing with a hand, wrist, elbow, or shoulder condition, my goal is to help you feel heard, informed, and confident in your care. I specialize in ultrasound-guided injections, which allow for precise, targeted treatment to help relieve pain and improve function. I enjoy working with patients to create individualized treatment plans that help them return to the activities they love. My doctoral work focuses on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) following orthopedic injuries, which has deepened my understanding of post-injury pain presentations and recovery challenges within orthopedic care. I also understand recovery from the patient’s perspective, having experienced an ACL injury and rehabilitation myself during 2020. That experience deepened my appreciation for the physical and emotional challenges of healing and continues to shape how I support my patients. I strive to build trusting relationships through compassionate care, clear communication, and support every step of the way.

Clinical Focus and Research

My Research Interests

My research focuses on the prevention and reduction of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) after orthopedic injuries, with an emphasis on the role of vitamin C supplementation following injury or surgery. I am interested in improving recovery outcomes and helping reduce the risk of prolonged pain and stiffness after orthopedic trauma. My goal is to contribute to simple, evidence-informed strategies that can support better healing and recovery for patients.
