About Me

Choosing medicine as a career was a natural result of my desire to help people. Early in my medical training, I found that I enjoyed working with children, which steered me down the path of pediatrics. As a pediatric nephrologist, I take care of children with all kinds of kidney problems, including kidney stones and inflammation of the kidneys. I also care for children whose kidneys may not have formed properly at birth or who may need a kidney transplant. I understand that every patient and family is unique, requiring a plan of care that's tailored specifically to their particular situation. Because of this, I focus on using my background and expertise to educate and support families as they make important medical decisions. Forming close relationships with families and being part of their children's journey to health are the most rewarding aspects of my work.
