About Me
I am a radiation oncologist with a particular focus on the management of women's health malignancies. I specifically work with breast and gynecologic cancer patients. I believe a critical part of patient care is appreciating where patients are during this difficult time, and providing them with the tools and understanding they need to both feel comfortable and make informed decisions. My job provides me with the opportunity to really get to know my patient’s on a personal level. It’s one of the parts I enjoy most about my job: understanding and appreciating who the patient is beyond their diagnosis, and working towards what matters most to them. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with family and helping my young children discover the world around them.

Clinical Focus and Research
My research interests include use of new technologies and techniques to improve upon radiation delivery and reduce risks and side effects for patients undergoing brachytherapy treatments. Brachytherapy is a type of internal radiation delivery that is often utilized in the management of gynecologic cancers and can be used in some breast cancers as well. I am also proud to participate in the development of clinical trials as a committee member at the national cooperative group level.
