Duke Primary Care recently opened two new family medicine practices and relocated an existing adult care practice in Wake County.

New Family Medicine Clinics in Apex and Cary

Duke Primary Care Apex opened on July 5 and is located on U.S. 64 near the intersection of N.C. 55.  Duke Primary Care Wellesley, located in Cary near the corner of High House Road and N.C. 55, opened July 11.

Each of the new practices has three family medicine providers and offers comprehensive primary care services for adults and children, including lab services. Apex also offers X-ray services.

The new Apex location brings Duke Primary Care back to Apex and provides a welcomed health care home for those living in Apex, Holly Springs and surrounding communities. The new Cary clinic provides a convenient location for those living in the western side of Cary, a growing part of the town.

Harps Mill Adult-Care Clinic Moves

As of July 19, Duke Primary Care Harps Mill in Raleigh relocated to a new building on Sandy Forks Road and changed its name to Duke Primary Care Midtown. The providers and care team all moved to the new location, which offers enhanced patient-care spaces.

"The addition of these three new practice locations supports our continued commitment to growing both primary care and urgent care services in Wake County," said Lisbeth Gierman, Duke Primary Care's director of operations in Wake County. "Over the past four years, we've added seven practices in Wake County to increase our access for this county and its growing population."

Duke Primary Care will continue to explore opportunities to expand services in Wake County and throughout the Triangle.
