Virtual Survivor Week Specifics

The online-only portion of Survivorship Day will be held on Zoom on Wednesday, June 5 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. You can watch the recorded Cancer Survivorship Panel Discussion until May 2025.

Attendance is free. However, we require all participants to register so we can provide you with a link to join.

The event will take place on Zoom. You can access Zoom through your computer or mobile device. After registering, you will receive a link to each session you select. Links will be sent one week prior to the event.

Each attendee is encouraged to register for the free event.

Links will be sent to registrants one week before, and the day before the event. Please check your spam folder, if you can not find it, email cancersupport@duke.edu.

You can use any web browser (such as Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox). However, we recommend Google Chrome for the best experience.

You will have the best experience on a desktop computer or laptop computer. However, you can use a mobile device such as a tablet or mobile phone as well. 

Yes.

For the best computer experience, download Zoom to your desktop, or the app to your device. The software and app are free.

If you prefer, you can join the conference from your web browser without downloading Zoom. Use the meeting invite link sent to your email. Click the join link to join the meeting. If a pop-up window prompts you to open or install the Zoom desktop client, click cancel.

Virtual Event Material Questions

Yes, the Cancer Survivorship Panel Discussion will be available after the event through May 2025 on DukeHealth.org.

In-Person Survivorship Day at Duke Cancer Centers

Workshops, rejuvenation activities, and demonstrations will take place at Duke Cancer Centers in Durham,  Raleigh and Cary. In-person registration is free and encouraged.

In-Person Event Specifics

The events will be hosted in person at the following Duke Cancer Center locations:

Monday, June 3 - Thursday, June 6, 2024 
10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Registration is requested.

Duke Cancer Center Raleigh
Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4 
10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Duke Women's Cancer Care Raleigh
Thursday, June 6
10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Duke Cancer Center North Durham
Thursday, June 7
10 am to noon

Duke Cancer Center Cary
Friday, June 7
10:00 am to noon

There is no cost. The in-person and virtual events are free.

Visitors attending Survivorship Week at Duke Cancer Center will use the Trent Drive Garage. This garage charges $2 per hour or $8 per day. 

  • Parking is provided with registration for Meet the Expert, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or the Cancer Support and Survivorship Resource Fair.

Duke Cancer Center North Durham, Duke Cancer Center Raleigh, Duke Women’s Cancer Care Raleigh, and Duke Cancer Center Cary have free parking.

Guide dogs registered in North Carolina are welcome. We cannot host emotional support animals.

Light snacks will be offered during the cooking demonstration at Duke Cancer Center on Tuesday, June 4, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

Masks are required in Duke patient and clinical settings.
