At Duke Raleigh Hospital Urology Oncology, you’re seen by our board-certified urologic oncologist (surgeon) and urologist, who provides testing and consultations for adults who have a diagnosis of cancer or need additional evaluation. We specialize in screening for cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicles.

Urology Oncology Services in Raleigh
Our surgical oncologist is an expert at diagnosing the specifics of your disease and provides you with guidance for your next steps of treatment. At our clinic, we may perform a cystoscopy, which uses a long, thin tube to inspect your urethra and bladder. For men, we may also use a prostate biopsy to best understand the nature of your cancer. We don’t perform surgeries or offer chemotherapy or radiation therapy at this clinic.
We’ll discuss your results and best course of treatment before referring you to cancer experts at the Duke Cancer Center in Durham or Duke Cancer Center Raleigh. Because Duke providers use My Duke Health (previously Duke MyChart), your medical information will be securely shared to make a seamless transition to our clinic.

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility.
