Our gynecologist in Durham provides comprehensive care specifically tailored for children, teens, and young adults up to age 21. Our expert specializes in pediatric and adolescent gynecology and is one of the few gynecologists in North Carolina with a focused practice designation in pediatric and adolescent gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Our team will always provide care with your children’s well-being and long-term health in mind. We focus on age-appropriate sensitivity, confidentiality, and compassion. Our specialist in pediatric and adolescent medicine can diagnose and treat issues related to menstruation, sexually transmitted infections, and ovarian disorders like cysts or polycystic ovary syndrome. We also provide guidance and counseling for contraception and birth control.
Receiving care from a gynecologist trained in pediatric and adolescent needs means your child will receive the specialized care they need for their developing bodies. Along with physical exams and testing, our gynecologist can prescribe medication, suggest lifestyle changes to meet needs, or refer you to other Duke providers if additional treatment is needed. If you’re seeking contraception or birth control, we can apply or remove implants like an IUD.
