About Me
Prior to becoming a physician assistant, I worked as a strength and conditioning coach for 13 years. In that capacity I trained Division I and professional athletes, and also worked as a civilian contractor for the Air Force, building and running human performance programs for fighter pilots. I entered medicine in order to better understand the musculoskeletal system from a holistic perspective. Today I specialize in sports medicine, treating a wide range of sports injuries and orthopedic conditions, including knee and shoulder injuries, ACL and rotator cuff problems, sprains and strains, tendon and overuse injuries, and joint pain. I care for competitive athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone trying to stay active. My approach is simple: I listen first, explain clearly, and build a plan around your goals. Outside of work, I'm married with a two-year-old son and a daughter on the way. In my free time (when I have it) I enjoy working out, reading, and making pizza.
