About Me

Overview

Sports and physical activity have been important parts of my life since I was young. I grew up running, biking, and hiking with my friends and family at the foot of the Appalachian mountains. I believe that movement and physical activity are vital for overall well-being and I see sports medicine as a tool to keep and/or get people moving again. I enjoy working with people of all ages and levels of mobility to reach their goals, whether it be to have less pain playing with grandkids or to conquer an ultramarathon. I have a strong interest in female athletes, the menstrual cycle, bone health, iron deficiency, running medicine, and pregnant and postpartum athletes. I also have additional training in lifestyle medicine. I can be found cheering on the Blue Devils, running the local trails, or biking to work with my three daughters.

Ratings and Reviews

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
