About Me

I care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of bone, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions. My practice focuses on pediatric fractures and trauma, growth plate injuries, limb alignment and length differences, and congenital and developmental conditions of the upper and lower extremities. I enjoy helping families navigate both common injuries and concerns, like fractures, in-toeing and flat feet, and more complex problems that require thoughtful long-term planning.

I chose pediatric orthopaedics because it combines problem-solving, technical care, and long-term relationships with children and their families. I believe in clear communication, shared decision-making, and meeting patients and families where they are—both medically and emotionally. My goal is to help children heal, grow, and return to the activities they love.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and staying active, which helps me connect with the families I care for every day.

Clinical Focus and Research

My Research Interests

I study pediatric bone and joint injuries, with a focus on childhood fractures, growth plate injuries, and recovery after treatment. My research has examined outcomes of common injuries such as elbow fractures, including medial epicondyle fractures, as well as innovations like water-resistant casting to improve daily life during healing. My goal is to identify treatments that are safe, effective, and minimize disruption for children and families. This work helps doctors choose the best care for growing bones and helps patients heal well, return to activity sooner, and avoid long-term problems.
