ABOUT ME

The human voice is an amazing, dynamic instrument and I love working in a field where I continue to be fascinated by what the voice can do, both of its own accord and when presented with adversity. It is an honor to be a part of someone's journey, as they regain their ability to communicate and to live normally again. I make it a point to remain flexible in my approach because we all learn and process information differently. I don't work with patients, I work with people. When you can see the person in front of you, then you can build that connection. My love for all things "voice" stems from years of singing in my youth and into college. Nowadays, I have two young children and I enjoy sharing music and singing with them. We also love exploring the wonderful parks in Durham and frequently visit the Museum of Life & Science.
