About Me

I have the honor of taking care of patients from adolescence to menopause and during their reproductive years. My special interests include pregnancy, access to contraception, abnormal bleeding concerns, and gynecological procedures. I value diverse, personalized, competent care, with each of my patients feeling comfortable and knowledgeable about their condition or situation. My osteopathic medical training allows me to provide an additional skillset to assist with certain conditions. Global reproductive health is a passion of mine, as all women deserve access to health care. I travel to Central America, South America, and Africa each year to work on projects related to building equitable access to health care. My husband and I enjoy traveling, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, visiting farmers' markets, and trying good foods.

Clinical Focus and Research

My Research Interests

I spent a year living in Kisumu, Kenya focusing on cervical cancer prevention as both a Duke Global Health and NIH Fogarty fellow. Through developing stigma-reducing education techniques and awareness of HPV self-sampling, work continues to reduce the burden of cervical cancer globally.

Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher.
