About Me

I firmly believe in listening to my patients and ensuring that all their concerns and questions are addressed. I want my patients to feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. My clinical interests include medical and surgical management of many eyelid disorders such as “droopy eyelids,” eyelids that are turned in or out, and uncontrollable eyelid movements, such as twitching and facial spasms. I also manage eyelid and eyebrow reconstruction following tumor removal surgery or injuries. I offer cosmetic brow lifts, upper and lower eyelid lift surgery, medical and surgical management of thyroid eye disease, and blocked tear duct treatment. I also provide pediatric eyelid and eyebrow care for issues, such as dermoid cysts, congenital eyelid abnormalities, and disorders present at birth that affect the structure, function, or appearance of the eyelids. In my free time, I love to watch movies, cook, eat at local restaurants, work out, play tennis and pickleball, and spend time with my wife and my family.

Ratings and Reviews

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
