You may come to our clinic for initial evaluation, nonsurgical treatment or management of:
- Stomach disorders such as peptic ulcer disease
- Intestinal disorders such as anemia/nutritional deficiencies, and celiac disease
- Motility and functional gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome
- Liver diseases such as fatty liver, hepatitis, and cirrhosis
- Esophageal disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Colon and rectal disease such as hemorrhoids and diverticulitis
- Colorectal cancer
- Pancreatic and gallbladder disorders, including pancreatitis and gallstones
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Treatments
You may also come to our clinic for screenings and diagnostic procedures including:
- Colonoscopy (for colon cancer screening and polyp removal), including open access for screening colonoscopy, meaning that eligible individuals don’t have to schedule an office visit prior to scheduling their colonoscopy, saving time and co-pay costs
- Upper endoscopy (to evaluate reflux, ulcers, or swallowing problems)
- Capsule endoscopy
- Telemetry studies for diagnosis of reflux related issues

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility.
