Speech Pathology Services in Chapel Hill
In addition to providing comprehensive speech evaluations, our providers have expertise in and access to advanced testing to pinpoint what may be causing communication disorders, including speech, language, and thinking skills. We provide a range of consultation, treatment, and therapy services for various speech pathology concerns. These include the following:
- Articulation and phonology problems
- Augmentative and alternative communication assistance (assessment and device trial therapy sessions take place at Clinic 1I location)
- Cognitive communication disorders related to traumatic brain injury, autism, Down syndrome, and other conditions
- Fluency and stuttering problems
- Language delays/disorders
- Motor speech disorders, including apraxia and dysarthria
Specialized speech diagnostic tools such as nasopharyngoscopy, nasometry, and respiratory pressure manometry are available at other Duke locations.

About Us
Duke Speech Pathology at Meadowmont is in Chapel Hill off Highway 54. The clinic is easily accessible from Highway 54, I-40 and 15-501. This location is convenient to Orange, Chatham and Durham counties.
Duke Speech Pathology is conveniently in the same clinic as Duke Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy at Meadowmont and in the same building as Duke Primary Care Meadowmont.
