Duke Perinatal Wilmington’s team of specialists provides high-risk pregnancy care. We counsel women across all stages of reproductive care, including those who want to become pregnant as well as women who need ongoing pregnancy care. We use our years of training and experience and our extensive resources to ensure you and your baby receive the highest level of personalized care before and during your pregnancy and delivery, for the best possible outcome. Our perinatal clinic offers in-person care and telemedicine services to help serve the growing needs of our region.

Women with a history of complications or medical care that may affect their pregnancy are seen by our providers who specialize in high-risk pregnancy care.
You may seek care at our clinic if you have:
- Advanced maternal age, gestational diabetes, or other maternal health conditions, such as heart disease, multiple sclerosis, high blood pressure, lupus, or infectious disease exposure.
- A history of pregnancy complications, such as miscarriage, preterm delivery, or multiple gestations.
- A medication exposure, fetal birth defects, fetal growth or placental issues, genetic or other disorders that could affect the health of your child.

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. About Us
We are the only perinatal practice in Wilmington accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine in obstetrics/gynecology, detailed second trimester OB ultrasound, and fetal echocardiogram. This means we meet or exceed nationally recognized standards in the performance and interpretation of diagnostic ultrasound examinations. We have over 25 years of experience in maternal fetal medicine and high-risk pregnancies.
