Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management of GI Disorders
When reopened patients can attend this clinic for initial evaluation, nonsurgical treatment or management of:
- Dietary sensitivities such as celiac sprue (celiac disease) and lactose intolerance
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barrett's esophagus and chronic heartburn
- Gastrointestinal viruses and infections, including Clostridium difficile infections (C diff)
- General discomfort, bloating and adult constipation
- Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) and ulcers
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and diverticular disease
- Stomach cancer, esophageal and colorectal cancer
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
- Liver disease, including hepatitis C and cirrhosis
- Swallowing disorders
- Hemorrhoid treatment
- Disorders of the gallbladder, pancreas, and biliary system
We will also offer:
- Colon cancer screenings, including colonoscopy, alternative screening measures and treatment of colon polyps
- Endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (gastroscopy), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), feeding tube placement (including percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube - PEG - insertion)
- Evaluation and treatment of constipation and diarrhea
