Please bring one form of identification, such as a driver’s license, insurance cards, and authorization forms. Although insurance does not cover skin care treatments and elective surgery, we can process claims for clinic visits and some procedures with your insurance carriers. At the time of your visit, you may be asked to pay amounts not covered by your insurance, such as consultation fees, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance. If you have multiple appointments, your insurance company may require multiple co-payments.
Duke participates with most insurance companies, Medicare, and North Carolina Medicaid. Before your first appointment, contact your employer or insurance company to confirm whether your coverage includes Duke.
