About Me

My passion for serving individuals diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancers started as a young child when my grandmother was diagnosed with liver cancer. This calling was reaffirmed repeatedly through working at a cancer center prior to attending physician assistant school and throughout my clinical training. What continues to draw me to this field is the relational aspect of cancer care. I wish to walk and partner alongside patients and their loved ones as they traverse through treatment, to not only attend to the potential effects of cancer-treating medications, but to serve as an advocate for patients' personal goals while maintaining honest and clear communication throughout the process. I aim to strive for excellence in caring for each individual, keeping the practice philosophy at the forefront of my mind that practitioners are to ultimately treat people, not diseases. As patients and their loved ones face the complexities that accompany a cancer diagnosis, I will do my best to ensure they feel seen and heard, as well as have access to the care they deserve. When I'm not in clinic, you will find me knitting a sweater, reading, curating my quarterly music playlist, or baking a sweet treat.
