About Me
I joined Duke in 2008 after returning to North Carolina from a decade spent working at Barrow Neurological Institute in Arizona. Over my career, I've worked in a variety of settings, including acute rehabilitation and acute care, but now I spend most of my time in outpatient clinics. I have always been particularly interested in working with adults with neurologic dysfunction, and have extensive training and certifications to keep my knowledge and skills sharp to best serve this population. I also specialize in working with adults that have genetic metabolic disorders and participate in research in this area. When working with clients, I believe in partnering with them and their loved ones to optimize their functional mobility and independence so that they can enjoy the things they value. Outside of work, I mostly spend my time with my husband, three kids, and many animals and enjoy excursions in the outdoors.
