I am a new faculty physician at Duke within the myeloma department. My role will entail providing care to patients with plasma cell disorders by way of evaluation and novel treatment, including clinical trial level enrollment. My research will focus on developing new therapies for my patient population while finding novel ways to include more minorities in clinical trials. I have a passion for inspiring, motivating and impacting aspiring young physicians through my affiliation with non-profit organizations. In addition, I am an active health advocate amongst marginalized communities; teaching and advocating cancer awareness and prevention.

About Me
I am a multiple myeloma physician and patient educator dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care while empowering patients and their families through education. I am passionate about helping individuals understand multiple myeloma and its precursor conditions, including MGUS and smoldering myeloma, and guiding them through the complexities of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
My goal is to build a meaningful partnership founded on trust, communication, and shared decision-making. Through education and evidence-based care, I strive to help patients feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate their myeloma journey and work toward achieving the best possible outcomes.
