About Me
As a nurse practitioner, my goal is to support my patients in leading healthy and fulfilling lives. I see patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adolescents and adults for routine physical exams, chronic conditions and acute illnesses. It is important to me to build relationships with my patients so we can work together to keep them healthy throughout all stages of life. This involves focusing on disease prevention, screening exams and the importance of a balanced and active lifestyle.
I am dedicated to empowering, educating and empathizing with my patients. With a focus on building strong, trusting relationships, I take the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and explain the "why" behind every recommendation. I ensure that my patients are informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, hiking in nature, trying out new recipes in the kitchen and reading. I am excited to be a part of Duke Primary Care, and it would be an honor to be a part of your healthcare team.
