About Me

I am an interventional cardiologist with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. In addition to seeing patients in the office, I perform procedures including heart catheterization and stent placement at Duke Raleigh Hospital and Duke University Hospital. One of the special things about practicing at Duke is that there are experts across all disciplines of cardiology, allowing for a truly collaborative approach to patient care. The most rewarding part of my job is the opportunity to connect with patients and their loved ones. I really enjoy getting to know my patients, learning about what is important to them, and striving to improve their overall health and quality of life. Outside of work, I love to hike, travel, and spend time with friends and family.

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy.
