About Me
I am a pediatric nurse practitioner with Duke Urgent Care. I've cared for children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for the past 15 years. I love caring for sick kids and their families! What I have enjoyed most is watching families walk out of the ICU together knowing the care I helped provide allowed that family to remain whole. Being a pediatric provider is about taking care of the whole family, not just the sick children. I am now providing pediatric care for Duke Urgent Care, ensuring that parents feel confident in knowing how to care for their sick kids at home. Treating children is important but ensuring parents have the knowledge and the tools to continue that care at home is equally as important.
