Leslie Sierra-Arevalo, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC

I began my journey at Duke University Hospital in 2014 when I completed a summer volunteer program with the inpatient pediatric physical therapy team. I went on to complete my degree in athletic training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017. During that time, I knew I would continue my education to practice with a younger and more pediatric-focused population. Since graduating, I have worked with pediatric patients in an early intervention/home health setting and at a multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic. I am honored and grateful to be serving pediatric patients through Duke Health, where my journey in pediatric physical therapy first began. I continue to love working with orthopedic and sports medicine populations, but also have a passion for working with infants, developmental delay, and neuromuscular conditions. Additionally, I am a first-generation Colombian American Spanish speaker with the ability to speak and culturally relate to Latin families.
