WHERE I PROVIDE CARE
Profile
ABOUT ME

I began my journey by facilitating communication between deaf and hard of hearing children, adults and their hearing peers as a nationally-certified sign language interpreter. This ensured equal communication access, fostered personal development and the feeling of connection to the world. Audiology served as a platform for me to further support this concept of “connectedness” for all individuals, ages and hearing abilities. The opportunity to provide guidance and support the right to stay connected with those around you continues to rejuvenate my passion professionally. My favorite aspect is supporting people more readily through direct patient-care, diagnostic evaluations and hearing aid adjustments/troubleshooting. Audiology holds hearing healthcare and communication access as its highest-priorities. It includes cutting-edge technology and is people-centered. I am excited to be a part of this great field at Duke University Medical Center.
