Katie Hester, PT, DPT

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could help people. I was introduced to the physical therapy profession after suffering a shoulder injury while playing college softball. I truly felt my physical therapist played a crucial role in my return to the sport I loved playing. This experience motivated me to become a physical therapist, so I could also help patients return to their favorite activities. It is my mission to give my patients knowledge about their condition and empower them to work toward their functional goals. I believe in treating patients through an individualized approach, by first understanding their impairments and limitations, then utilizing evidence-based care to help them achieve their specific goals. I am originally from Texas, but I moved to North Carolina in 2007 to attend Campbell University. When I am not treating patients, I enjoy being outdoors, exploring various coffee shops and breweries, and spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our corgi.
