At Duke Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Holly Springs, our physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists evaluate and treat people with a variety of orthopaedic, neurologic, and cognitive impairments. Services
Our licensed therapists are dedicated to caring for all individuals, whether you have a sports injury, a neurological disorder, or are recovering from surgery. We provide physical therapy and occupational therapy to people with a variety of issues.
We treat people with the following conditions to help manage pain and improve function:
- Cognitive impairments
- Injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures, and concussions, as well as brain and sports-related injuries
- Multiple sclerosis
- Osteoarthritis
- Pain in the joints, neck, and back
- Speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Vestibular dysfunction (characterized by dizziness or vertigo) and balance problems
Treatments
After a thorough evaluation by a highly trained therapist, you may undergo one or more of the following treatments:
- Cognitive training
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Pain treatment through manual therapy and dry needling
- Patient and family education
- Return-to-sport training
- Self-care, home management, and vocational skills training
- Therapeutic exercises and activities to improve balance, fine-motor coordination, dexterity, gait, and respiratory muscle strength
- Therapy to manage or treat tremors, concussion, and osteoarthritis
- Vestibular rehabilitation
