ABOUT ME

What excites me most about my work as a physical therapist is the possibility for change in a child’s life, the opportunity to encourage children and families in difficult or uncertain situations, and the dynamic learning environment at Duke. I often try to discover a child’s unique attributes since these attributes can be keys to treating movement problems. Our team is continuously learning and improving. I consider it a privilege and responsibility to be involved in the process of making health care decisions with families. I grew up in a family where big dreams were encouraged and educational opportunities were provided, so I feel at home at Duke.
