I care for patients with a variety of allergy, asthma and airway-related conditions, including asthma, environmental and seasonal allergies, chronic hives and other allergic or immune-related conditions. Many of the patients I see have been dealing with symptoms for a long time, and some have been searching for answers or trying different treatments without getting the relief they’re hoping for. That’s one of the things I really enjoy about this specialty. I love getting to know my patients and looking at the whole picture — not just their symptoms, but how those symptoms are affecting their everyday lives. Whether that means difficulty sleeping, exercising, working, spending time outdoors or simply feeling like themselves, those things are important to me when developing a treatment plan. Growing up in a small town in Virginia, I saw firsthand how limited access to health care could affect individuals and families. That experience inspired me to become a nurse practitioner and shaped my commitment to being a compassionate patient advocate. I believe every patient deserves to feel heard and valued. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable asking questions about your health.
