Insurance

Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy

Profile
ABOUT ME

Being raised in a family full of nurses, I knew from an early age I would enter the field of medicine. Becoming a physician assistant proved to be the perfect career path for me as it combined my desire to work directly with people in need of medical care with my craving for continuous learning opportunities. I moved to North Carolina from northern New York state in July 2013. I have been enjoying the amazing weather and experiencing all North Carolina has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, taking yoga classes, exploring state parks, and traveling to different cities and attractions. I am an avid runner and have completed many half marathons, as well as one full marathon with the hopes of doing more in the years to come. I will also admit that, despite working for Duke, I am a huge Syracuse University Basketball ball fan!
