About Me
As a medical family therapist with the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program, I have the privilege of supporting patients and their families as they navigate the profound challenges of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. My approach focuses on the impact cancer has on the entire family system, offering a space for connection, understanding, and healing during what is often an incredibly difficult time.
Guided by principles of openness and anti-oppressive practice, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their personal and relational journeys, helping them cultivate self-compassion and connect with their inner wisdom as they navigate life’s challenges.
Outside of this deeply meaningful work, I enjoy spending time laughing with my friends and family, playing with my dog, hiking, and making music. You’ll also often find me in the kitchen, exploring new recipes and creating meals that bring people together.
